MAGNOLIA, Ark.—Cherry Lee "Jack" Davis, 87, of Magnolia died Friday, Sept. 14, 2018, at her home. Ms. Davis was born June 9, 1931, in Magnolia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orie Davis; and five children, Linzy Grissom, Leonard Grissom, Annie Grissom, Malvin Grissom and Carrie Allen. Survivors include six children and two spouses, Mary and Willie Champ, Ruby Grissom, Sarah Grissom and Charles Grissom of Magnolia, James and Linda Grissom of Springhill, La., and Earl Grissom of Texarkana; one special uncle, A.J. Hayes of Magnolia; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Friendship Baptist Church, Stamps, Ark., with Dr. Lewis Shepherd Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery under direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Online registration is at rlreedfuneralhome.com.
