DeKALB, Texas—Willie James McCrary, 67, of DeKalb died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, in a Texarkana, Texas nursing home. Mr. McCrary was born Nov. 6, 1950, in DeKalb. He was an assembly line worker in the food industry and a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church, DeKalb. Survivors include his mother, Christana McCrary of DeKalb; four brothers, Garry McCrary and Danny McCrary of DeKalb, Wesley McCrary of Stamford, Texas, and Chester McCrary of Ashdown, Ark.; four sisters, Carolyn McCrary and Luther Mae Tolliver of DeKalb, Dorothy Smith of Greenville, Texas, and Loist Bennett of Duarte, Calif.; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Oak Ridge Cemetery, DeKalb, with the Rev. Michael Gray officiating. Burial will be under direction of Bates Family Funeral Home.
