HERMAN VAUGHN

Herman Vaughn, 71, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, in Texarkana. Mr. Vaughn was born March 19, 1947, in Monroe, La. He was a laborer and a member of New Town Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Jessie Mae Owens of Texarkana; two brothers, Sam Vaughn of San Diego and James Vaughn of North Carolina; one sister, Frankie Vaughn of Milwaukee; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Newtown Baptist Church with the Rev. Darnell Johnson officiating. Burial will be under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
