WAYNE CARVER

Wayne Lee Carver, 83, of Ashdown, Ark., died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, in an Ashdown hospital. Mr. Carver was born Dec. 16, 1934, in Foreman, Ark. He was retired from Coca Cola Bottling Company and a member of First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Carver. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Jimmy Grimes of Ashdown; 2 granddaughters and one grandson-in-law, Deanna Jackson of Ashdown and Michelle and Joe Green of Foreman; and three great-grandchildren, Michael Wayne Friday, Lauren McDonald and Dalton McDonald. Graveside services were Sept. 20, 2018, at Ashdown Cemetery with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial was under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
