William Jennings Henry, 76, of Bloomburg, Texas, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, in an Atlanta, Texas hospital. Mr. Henry was born Dec. 4, 1941 in Texarkana, Ark. He was a Master Plumber with Central Air Conditioning and Plumbing Company, former owner of Henry's Plumbing Service, former member of the Gideon's International and a member of the Holly Street Church God. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Eric Green. Survivors include his wife, Vivian Robinson Henry of Bloomburg; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Laurie Bayless, Cathy and Brian Green and Corena and Joseph Lavender of Texarkana and Lisa and Bill Staley of Bloomburg; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Vernon Groce officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Gideon's International. Online registration is at chapelwoodfuneralhome.com.
