Robert Allen Wilson

NEW BOSTON, Texas—Robert Allen Wilson, 75, of New Boston died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, in a local hospital. Mr. Wilson was born Sept. 5, 1943, in Texarkana, Texas. He was a retired insurance adjuster and former police officer with the Texarkana, Texas, Police Department. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church, Elks Lodge, American Legion and an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Vickie Wilson of New Boston; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Roland Parlette of Texarkana and Teresa and Tab Benoit of Houma, La.; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Michelle Hill and Shawn and Pricilla Hill of New Boston; one sister, June Lively of Grand Prairie, Texas; four grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Westside Missionary Baptist Church with Roy Whittle officiating. Burial will be in Godley Prairie Cemetery under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home.
