CLARENE RODGERS

Clarene Rodgers, 78, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018, in Arlington, Texas. Ms. Rodgers was born Aug. 29, 1940, in Texarkana. She was a LVN. Survivors include one son, Andrew Rodgers of Texarkana; one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Edgar Butler of Arlington, Texas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Clementine and Harold Lewis of Kempner, Texas, and Betty Nelson of Dallas; five grandchildren, DeNerrica Yarborough, Montrae Rodgers, Dion Kelley, Antony Gardner and Destiney Kelley; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at New Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Thurman officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Haynes Mortuary.
