M.T. JOHNSON

M.T. Johnson, 90, of Texarkana, Ark., died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, in Texarkana. Mr. Johnson was born Nov. 27, 1927, in Homan, Ark. He was employed with Cooper Tire & Rubber. Survivors include his wife, Janet Johnson of Texarkana; one daughter, Pamela Foster of Texarkana; one granddaughter, Angelica Foster of Little Rock; two great-granddaughters, Ameenah Johnson and Ainslee Johnson of Little Rock; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Canaan Baptist Church with the Revs. Freddie Smith and Joyce Watson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
