MCLEOD, Texas -- Ella Lambeth poured in 17 points, pulled down 7 rebounds and had 8 steals to lead McLeod past Linden-Kildare, 60-16, in a girls varsity basketball game on Tuesday.
Rielyn Schubert, who connected on three shots from 3-point land, finished with 11 points for the Lady Longhorns.
LaSonya Nard paced the Lady Tigers with 9 points.

Hooks wins on buzzer beater
HOOKS, Texas -- Lindra Burchette lit up the nets for 25 points as Hooks edged Queen City, 63-61, in a girls varsity basketball game.
The game ended on a winning shot by the Lady Hornets.
Nyla Harrison scored a team-high 13 points for the Lady Bulldogs, teammate Alex Larry had 12 and Lauren Carrell with 11.
Laterica Jackson scored 10 points for Queen City in the junior varsity contest, but Hooks prevailed, 33-25.
