TEXARKANA, Texas -- A free, four-hour workshop Friday will offer network opportunities to help local contractors and other small businesses learn how to do business with local government entities.
Several agencies are partnering to host the event from 9 a.m. to noon at the Texarkana Convention Center, 2910 S. Cowhorn Creek Loop.
Paula Grabowski, government contracting expert, will be the guest speaker and local officials will discuss upcoming opportunities related to infrastructure funding.
Hosting agencies include the Northeast Texas Small Business Development Center; cities of Texarkana, Texas, and Texarkana, Arkansas; Miller and Bowie counties, Arkansas Small Business Development and Technology Center and Texarkana Chamber of Commerce.
