LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas Department of Transportation has now launched pages on Facebook and Instagram.
Prior to joining Facebook and Instagram, the Department only had a social media presence on Twitter.
"It's now easier than ever for Arkansans to keep up with statewide transportation projects and road conditions," said ArDOT Director Lorie Tudor. "Transparency and customer satisfaction are very important to us here at ArDOT. Increasing our social media presence is a great way to work toward both of those goals."

People who use ArDOT's iDriveArkansas website and app to keep up with traveler information and road conditions will continue to receive live updates via the @iDriveArkansas Twitter account. The iDriveArkansas live update service is not available on Instagram and Facebook, but urgent alerts and information will be shared to the @myArDOT Facebook and Instagram pages.
