Eighth annual Twice as Fine Wine Festival slated for Saturday in Spring Lake Park

TEXARKANA, Texas -- The eighth annual Twice as Fine Wine Festival will take place Saturday at Spring Lake Park.

All proceeds from the wine, food, art and music festival will benefit Alzheimer's Alliance Tri-State Area.

More than 25 Texas wineries, more than 50 artisans and 10 food vendors are scheduled to participate.

Slated musical acts include Gabe Campbell, Allan McEneaney, Danny & The Gang, Josh Lawrence Trio, Chasing Rita, Moss Brothers, Aaron & Will, and Trophy Husband.

Through support services, referrals and the Our Place Day Respite Center, the Alzheimer's Alliance serves more than 17,000 people in its 22-county service area who are enduring the effects of Alzheimer's disease.

(The festival is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at Spring Lake Park, 4303 N. Park Road. General admission is free. Admission into the wine garden is $20, and anyone under 21 must be accompanied by an adult and must present a valid ID.
