VIOLET ANDERSON

Violet Lorene Anderson, 86, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, in a local nursing home. <br />Mrs. Anderson was born Feb. 8, 1921, in New Boston, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Redwater First Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Anderson. <br />Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Merriel Clark and Brenda and John Brown of Texarkana; three grandchildren, Dawn Cox, Bradley Clark and Cory Brown; two great-grandchildren, Andrew Clark and Olivia Clark; one special cousin, Edith Merriman; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Revs. Ken Golden and Sean Garden officiating. Burial will be in Ringwood Cemetery, New Boston. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.chapelwoodfuneralhome.com. <br />
