CECIL HEFLEY

CECIL HEFLEY <br />DEKALB, Texas—Cecil R. Hefley, 80, of DeKalb died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital. <br />Mr. Hefley was born Jan. 8, 1928, in DeKalb. He was a chemical plant operator at Shell Oil Company, member of First Baptist Church and a Marine veteran. <br />Survivors include his wife, Melba Hefley of DeKalb; three sons, John Hefley of Texarkana, Mark Hefley of London, England, and David Hefley of Engelwood, Colo.; one sister, JoAnn Laney of DeKalb; two grandsons, Brendan and Joshua Hefley of London; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 4 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, DeKalb, with Walter Jackson and David Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Woodmen Cemetery. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 204 N.W.
