FELIX GARDNER

ATLANTA, Texas—Felix “Cold Spring” Gardner, 80, of Queen City, Texas, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008, in a local hospital. <br />Mr. Gardner was born March 27, 1927, in McGee, Ark. He was a heavy equipment operator with T.L. James. <br />Survivors include his wife, Ammie Gardner; three daughters, Virginia Wesley, Teresa Williams and Katherine Gardner; four stepdaughters, Dessie Simmons, Onaita Tyson, Deborah Williams and Felicia Waller; two stepsons, Ray Charles Jefferson and James Jefferson; four sisters, Frankie Smith, Mosell Williams, Artic Waller and Cynthia Lambert; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Golden Gate Baptist Church with the Rev. Timmons officiating. Burial will be in Lanark Cemetery under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home. <br />Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and visitation 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />
