MARY BRILEY

Mary Ella Briley, 95, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008, in a local hospital. <br />Mrs. Briley was born July 2, 1912, in Texarkana. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir and missionary society. <br />Survivors include five sons, Oscar Briley, Harvey Briley and Julius Briley Jr. of Texarkana, Carl Briley of Longview, Texas, and James Briley of Cedar Hill, Texas; two daughters, Annie L. Briley of Texarkana and Erma Victor of DeSoto, Texas; one sister, Espanola Hailey of Bakersfield, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Closed-casket services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. A.J. Gay officiating. Burial will be in Nash Cemetery under direction of Haynes Mortuary. <br />Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home, with viewing 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. <br />Online registration is at www.haynesmortuary.com. <br />
