INEZ BURT

Inez Jeanette Burt, 93, of Fouke, Ark., died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008, in a local hospital. <br />Mrs. Burt was born Nov. 25, 1915, in Calhoun County, Miss. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Odus Burt; one daughter, Vallie Ann Stevens; one son, Bobby Wayne Burt; and two grandchildren, Hal Knox and Rita Mills. <br />Survivors include two daughters, Jewell Knox and Retha Clark of Fouke, Ark.; six sisters, Erma Jean Honeycutt, Jimmie Fay Wiglicky and Geraldine McCrakin of Memphis, Tenn., Mabel Rae Jones of Foreman, Ark., Maxine Sams of Fouke and Oleta Matton of Texarkana; one brother, Harold Hill of Weatherford, Texas; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Revs. Doug Larey and Doug Frost officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery. <br />Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. <br />Relatives will be at the home of Retha Clark, 103 MC 216, Fouke. <br />Online registration is at www.texarkanafuneralhome.com. <br /> <br />
