OTTIE WILHITE

Ottie Faye Wilhite, 94, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, in a local hospital. <br />Mrs. Wilhite was born March 18, 1914, in Vivian, La. She was retired from Defense Contracts Administrative Service Region, El Sogundo, Calif., forner co-owner of Ozark Bicycle Shop, writer for Hallmark, and a member of Old Light House First Assembly of God Church, Texas. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Alicia Grove; one son, Henry Allen Wilhite; and two grandchildren, Danny Wilhite and Pam Wilhite. <br />Survivors include six grandchildren, Michelle Wilhite, Jonte Grove, DeAnna Grove, Patrice Vanderhaff, Billy Wilhite and Greg Wilhite; and a number of other relatives. <br />Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Old Light House Church First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Hal Haltom officiating. Burial will be in Old Vivian Cemetery, Vivian, La., under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. <br />Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. <br />Online registration is at www.chapelwoodfuneralhome.com
