AUDIE CRAIG

Audie Jane Craig, 97, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, in a local nursing home. <br />Mrs. Craig was born Aug. 1, 1913, in New Hope, Ala. She was a homemaker and a member of County Avenue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Craig; and seven children, Georgia Estelle McCall, Virgie Leighton Wray, Shirley Ruth Wray, Fred Price Craig, Rachel Marie Craig, Iva Jean Craig and Juda Craig. <br />Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Boyd and Ann Craig of Texarkana; four brothers, Charles Mayo, Simon Mayo, Samuel Mayo and Lloyd Mayo of New Hope; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. <br />Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with Dr. Roger Copeland officiating.
