MARK BURKHALTER

LINDEN, Texas—Mark Steven Burkhalter, 45, of Linden died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, in an Atlanta, Texas, hospital.

Mr. Burkhalter was born May 18, 1967, in Atlanta. He was employed in oil and gas industry and volunteer with Center Hill Baptist Church youth group.

Survivors include his wife, Dean Burkhalter of Linden; two daughters, Tiffany Burkhalter of Atlanta and Courtney Burkhalter of Linden; one brother and sister-in-law, Curtis and Kelly Burkhalter of Hope, Ark.; one sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Joe Seymore of Denham Springs, La.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Rust officiating. Burial will be in New Colony Cemetery.

Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
