HOPE, Ark.—Vernie Watson, 79, of Hope died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, in Hope.

Mrs. Watson was born April 6, 1933, in Mesa, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Watson; one daughter, Sybil Morrow; and two sons, Tony Watson and Keith Watson.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Tina Watson of Hope; two sisters, Sue Yeiser and Mary Winter; a number of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home with Chris Bradley officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
