NEW BOSTON, Texas—Cathy Taylor Ellis, 55, of New Boston died Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Ellis was born March 16, 1958, in Dallas. She was retired from Red River Army Depot.

Survivors include her husband, Gene Ellis of New Boston; one daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Terry Martin of Maud, Texas; two stepdaughters, Kenzie Ellis and Elizabeth Ellis of Texarkana; one sister, Rose Rachel of Maud; two brothers, Donald Burt of Quinlan, Texas, and David Burt of Maud; two grandsons, Ryan Martin and Blake Martin of Maud; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home with Jerry Jones officiating. Burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery.
