FUMIKO WESTER

De QUEEN, Ark.—Fumiko “Suzie” Wester, 79, of De Queen died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at her home.

Mrs. Wester was born Nov. 23, 1934, in Yomitan Village, Okinawa, Japan. She was a homemaker and an NSA Buddhist.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Wester; one brother, Yoshiteru Maeda of Yomitan Village; two sisters, Mitsuko Maeda and Shizue Ikehara of Yomitan Village; two sisters-in-law, Stella Pitts and Carol Ross of Horatio, Ark.; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shady Grove Cemetery. Burial will be under direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
