CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Helen Parks, 89, of Clarksville died Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, in a Paris, Texas hospital.

Mrs. Parks was born May 30, 1925, in Johntown community, Texas. She was retired from the Piggly-Wiggly bookkeeping office, Clarksville, and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ballard Wayne Parks.

Survivors include one son, Jack Parks of Clarksville; one daughter, Suzanne Parks of Clarksville; two grandchildren and spouses, Amber and Shane Davis of Avery, Texas, and Camille and Dale Hines of Clarksville; three great-grandchildren, Hannah Davis and Sara Davis of Avery and Ashley Hines of Clarksville; one great-great-grandchild; Kashtyn Hines; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Fairview Cemetery with Tracy Williams and Mike Kellam officiating. Burial will be under direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
