JOHN NOWLIN

DeKALB, Texas—John T. Nowlin, 57, of New Boston, Texas, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, in a Little Rock hospital.

Mr. Nowlin was born March 28, 1957, in Las Vegas. He was employed with Red River Army Depot, a Christian and an Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Becky Sturman Nowlin of New Boston; one daughter, Jennifer Yates of Kilgore, Texas; one stepdaughter, Cynthia Langford of New Boston; his parents, Cameron and Jo Nowlin of New Boston; two sisters, Cami Roca of Mount Pleasant, Texas, and Beth Butler of New Boston; three brothers, Willie Nowlin of Mount Pleasant, Robbie Nowlin of New Boston and David Nowlin of Dallas; two grandchildren; 10 nieces and nephews; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Relatives will be at the family home at noon Sunday.
