Betty Carole Edwardes, 79, of New York City died Sunday, March 26, 2017 in New York. Ms. Edwards was born April 1, 1937 in Texarkana, Texas. She was employed with the State of New York. Survivors include one brother, Michael Randolph Edwardes of Texarkana; one niece and spouse, Lisa and Chuck Vickers of Plano, Texas; two nephews and one spouse, George and Lisa Edwardes of Azle, Texas, and Chris Edwardes of Camden, Ark.; two greatnephews, Chase Vickers and Corbin Vickers; and one greatniece, Kaitlan Vickers. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
