Cedrick Deon Lamay, 40, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, March 21, 2017, in Texarkana. Mr. Lamay was born Nov. 16, 1976, in Texarkana. Survivors include his parents, Ruben and Cynthia Lamay and Patricia and Steven Duke of Texarkana and Antoinette and John Smalls of Clarksville, Tenn.; five sisters, Ometa Benjamin and Nikia Simon of Clarksville, and Jacynthia Arnold, Jantia Brown and Jatoya Arnold of Texarkana; five brothers, Vincent R. Williams II of Dallas, Jermanie R. Williams of Texarkana, Oronde Grant of Kileen, Texas, and Darnell Bruce and Devin Bruce; his grandmothers, Lavada Lamay and the Rev. John and Jacynthia Holmes Jr. of Texarkana and Robert L. Arnold of Tyler, Texas; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton Memorial AME Church with Dr. James A. Morris officiating under direction of Haynes Mortuary. Online registration is at haynesmortuary.com.
