QUEEN CITY, Texas—Tilford Joe Barfield III, 25, of Atlanta, Texas, died Saturday, March 25, 2017, in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Mr. Barfield was born Nov. 27, 1991. He was preceded in death by his parents, LaJuana and Tilford Joe Barfield II. Survivors include one son, Mikah Darnell Townsend-Barfield of Texarkana; one brother, Tearle Willis of Natchitoches, La.; one sister, Punchress Rena Barfield of Jackonsville, Fla.; his grandmothers, Bessie Mae Barfield of Atlanta and Alice Willis of Natchitoches; two uncles, George Barfield and Christopher G. Barfield of Atlanta; two aunts, Pamela Faye Houston of Little Elm, Texas, and Sherry Lynette Barfield of Orange Park, Fla.; one god brother, Reginald Ware of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Atlanta High School Auditorium. Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery under direction of Queen City Funeral Home.
