VENCIL AARON

Vencil Truett Aaron 87, of Texarkana, Texas died Thursday, March 30, 2017 in a local nursing home. Mr. Aaron was born on Jan. 13, 1929 in Texarkana. He was a retired lead Maintenance Technician with Wadley Medical Center and a member of First Pentecostal Church of God. He was preceded in death by one son, Wayne Aaron. Survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law, Gail and Chris Phillips, Linda Raney and Kathy Hill; one brother, J.C. Aaron; one special friend, Jean Boyd. nine grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Harvey Cornelious officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Online registration is at chapelwoodfuneralhome.com.
