\LINDEN, Texas—Darnell Dewaine Patterson, 36, of Linden died Monday, March 26, 2018. Mr. Patterson was born Oct. 24, 1981. He was employed with Linden Fuel Center and a minister of music at Mount Pilgrim Church, Lake of the Pine, Texas, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Linden, and Shady Grove Baptist Church, New Boston, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Sarah Brown Patterson; his parents, Brenda and Ricky Patterson and George and Senetha Epps; three sisters, Lisa Patterson of Arlington, Texas, and Darnetta Patterson and Latonya Patterson of Linden; five brothers, Ray Patterson of Grand Prairie, Texas, Alfred Abraham of Linden and Cody Willlis, Lorenza Richardson and Vonte Frank of Atlanta, Texas; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pinecrest Baptist Church, Linden, with Dr. Bryan Baggett and the Rev. Shaun Collins officiating. Burial will be in New Antioch Missionary Baptist Church under direction of Linden Funeral Home. Visitation will be noon to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
