MAE THOMPSON

Mae Ola Thompson, 84, of Ogden, Ark., died Monday, March 26, 2018, in Texarkana, Texas. Ms. Thompson was born July 18, 1933, in Ogden. She was a retired CNA and cosmetologist, an electrical poll monitor and a member of East Ladies. Survivors include four sons, Larry Washington, Charles Thompson and George Thompson of Ogden and Donald Thompson of Ashdown, Ark.; one daughter, Rosetta Thompson of Ogden; one brother, Benjamin Young of Flint, Mich.; four sisters, Ruby Peck and Daisy Williams of Clow, Ark., Ella Steel of San Diego and British Turner of Texarkana; 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with Elder Jackie Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Armstrong Cemetery under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body may be viewed 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the church.
