ESSIE CELLUM

DeKALB, Texas—Essie "Nadine" Cellum, 75, of Clarksville, Texas, died Saturday, April 7, 2018, at a Clarksville nursing home. Mrs. Cellum was born Aug. 18, 1942, in DeKalb. She was a retired nursing assistant at Clarksville Nursing Center and a Christian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank "F.C." Cellum; and two daughters, Candice Cellum and Antoinette Cellum. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Stephen and Pam Cellum of Lake Charles, La., and Anthony Cellum of Clarksville; two daughters, Gwendolyn Cellum and Stephanie Cellum of Clarksville; one sister, Mary Jones of DeKalb, Texas; three grandchildren, Alex G. Cellum, Brianne K. Cellum and Deshaun Cellum; and a number of other relatives. Services will be noon Saturday at Bates Family Funeral Home with Ross Cullen officiating.
