EARNESTINE BOWENS

Earnestine Bowens, 70, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, April 7, 2018, in Texarkana. Ms. Bowens was born Oct. 24, 1947, in Homan, ARk. She was a cook. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Daisy and Jonathan Jackson of Texarkana; one brother, Nathan Kelly of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four sisters, Gloria Moore and Loretta Buford of Texarkana and Evelyn Hall and Etta Thompson of Dallas; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Church of The Living God Temple 4 with Bishop T.L. Taylor and Elder Gary Turner officiating. Burial will be in Fair Haven Cemetery under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the church.
