Mildred Inez Harrist

ATLANTA, Texas—Mildred Inez Jones Harrist, 88, of Doddridge, Ark., died Saturday, April 14, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Harrist was born Jan. 21, 1930, in Troop, Texas. She was retired from Atlanta Memorial Hospital and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Doddridge. Survivors include her husband, T.K. Harrist of Doddridge; one daughter, Karen Nelson of Doddridge; one sister, Helen Griffith of Shreveport, La.; two grandchildren, Janette Hall Campanilla of Texarkana and Michael Hall of Doddridge; six great-grandchildren, Anthony Zuniga, Selena Campanilla, Angelica Campanilla, Ana Campanilla, Sergio Campanilla and Isabella Campanilla; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Zion Baptist Church with Wayne Gray and Tommy Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
