Raymond Teeters

Raymond Howard Teeters, 92, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, April 17, 2018, in a local hospital. Mr. Teeters was born Sept. 18, 1925, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a member of College View Baptist Church, Magnolia, Ark., a Mason and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Teeters. Survivors include two daughters and one son in-in-law, Pam Rhoden of Texarkana and Lisa and Larry McCloskey of Redwater, Texas; one son: Jeffery Teeters of Texarkana; one brother, Van Teeters of Houston; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 4 p.m. Friday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Cranford Graves officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
