GEORGIA COFFEY

NAPLES, Texas—Georgia Mae Coffey, 92, of Douglassville, Texas, died Sunday, April 15, 2018. Mrs. Coffey was born Dec. 17, 1925, in Cass County, Texas. She was a homemaker, a former member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Douglassville, and a member of Full Gospel Pentecostal Outreach Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy C. Coffey; and one grandson, Bobby Wright. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Ester and Alvin of Naples and Georgie Boyd of Dallas; two sisters, Mary Lee Blaylock of Douglassville and S.L. Hawkins of Naples; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Laurenza and Celestan Coffey of Naples and Martha White of Arlington, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Morning Star Baptist Church, Naples, with the Revs. Albert Henderson and Henry Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Morning Star Cemetery under direction of Sasser Funeral Home. CHARLIE WILSON HOPE, Ark.—Charlie Grey Wilson, 97, of Hope died Sunday, April 15, 2018, in Hope. Mrs. Wilson was born March 25, 1921 in Ouachita County, Ark. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Wilson. Survivors include eight nieces and nephews, Nell Gillespie Riechers, Nancie Gillespie Dischinger, John Dexter Gillespie Jr., Jay Wilse Biggers, Jan Biggers Thomasson, Joseph Wayne Gillespie Jr., Ginny Lee Gillespie Keith and Kenneth Bret Gillespie; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Johnson and John Gillespie officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
