Martha Emma Nations, 76, of Ashdown died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at home after a brief illness. She was born November 25, 1941, in Hope, Arkansas. She was a member of Richmond Methodist Church. Martha retired from State Farm Insurance after a 25 year career. She enjoyed gardening, especially day lilies, times spent camping and fishing, and she never missed a little league world series baseball game on TV. Martha, or Mimi, was unselfish and kind, and she loved her family with everything she had. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Dana and Staley Cash of Greenville, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law Joe Jr. and Belinda Nations of Texarkana, Arkansas; two brothers, Phillip Gilbert and wife Linda of Hope, Arkansas; James R. Gilbert of Texarkana, Texas; five grandchildren, Tanner Cash of New Braunfels, Texas; Hunter Cash of Fate, Texas; Megan Williams and husband Andrew of Hot Springs, Arkansas; Julia Nations of Conway, Arkansas; and Connor Nations of Texarkana, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Nations, Sr. of Ashdown; her twin sister Mary Felling, of Texarkana, Texas; and her parents, Carl and Mildred Gilbert, of Hope. Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, April 27, 2018, at Hephzibah Cemetery in Emerson, Arkansas.
