Joyce Linex

Thelma Joyce Linex, 75, of Texarkana, Ark., died Friday, April 27, 2018, in a local hospice. Mrs. Linex was born Oct. 22, 1942, in Texarkana. She was formerly employed with Texarkana Funeral Home, a licensed beautician, former hair salon owner and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Billy Joe Linex of Texarkana; two sons, Michael Glenn Lybarger of New Boston, Texas, and Lee Lybarger of Texarkana; one stepdaughter, Debbie Linex Taylor of Texarkana; two sisters, Darlene Breton of El Paso, Texas, and Cathy McKenzie of Texarkana; one brother, Charles Perkins of Arkadelphia, Ark.; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. today at Trinity Baptist Church with the Revs. Bill Saxby and Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Texarkana, 2407 Galleria Oaks, Texarkana, TX 75504.
