BETTY SIMPSON

NEW BOSTON, Texas—Betty Simpson, 85, of New Boston died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Simpson was born Dec. 10, 1932 in Bryans Mill, Texas. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Simpson; and one son, Thomas Simpson. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Sue Simpson of Hooks, Texas, and Corbett and Glenda Simpson of New Boston; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bryans Mill, with Tuffy Williams officiating. Burial is under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home.
