JEAN GARTEE

Lona Jean Gartee, age 86, of Kerrville, Texas, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018, in a Kerrville, Texas nursing home. Mrs. Gartee was born Jan. 1, 1932, in Texarkana, Texas. She was a homemaker, formerly employed with Phillips Real Estate Company and a member of Beech Street First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Gartee; and one son, Jack A. Richardson II. Survivors include one son, Steven Richardson; one daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Richardson and Harley Belew of Kerrville; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Harley Belew officiating. Burial will be under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
