NEW BOSTON, Texas—Joyce Ann Freeman, 63, of Maud, Texas, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018, in a local hospital. Mrs. Freeman was born March 10, 1955, in Mineral Wells, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of God's Little Acre Church, Simms, Texas. Survivors include her husband, Rodger Freeman of Maud; three sons and daughters in law, Steelie and Amy McCuller of Maud, Joshua Bristow and Mary Ann Burrow of Genoa, Ark., and Brian and Rachel Freeman of Avery, Texas; three brothers, Sherman Crabtree and Royce Crabtree of Simms and Charlie Crabtree of Yantis, Texas; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home with Shannon Crawford and Steve Minter officiating. Burial will be in Sandhill Cemetery, Simms.
