MARIE PRICE

Marie Price, 87, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018, in a local hospice. Mrs. Price was born Feb. 20, 1931, in Garland, Ark. She was retired from Red River Army Depot. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. "J.A." Price Jr. Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law, Gregory Price and Douglas and Niki Price of Texarkana and George Price of Houston; one daughter, Beverly Price of Fort Worth, Texas; two grandsons and one granddaughter-in-law, Sidney Price of Texarkana and John and Whitney Preston of Little Rock; two nephews, Howard Miller and John B. Miller Jr.; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. O.J. Newburn Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery under direction of Haynes Mortuary. The body may be viewed 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Online registration is at haynesmortuary.com.
