STAMPS, Ark.—Mattie Pearl Jones-Cooper, 81, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, in a Springhill, La., hospital. Survivors include eight sons, Charles Eason of Alimony, Texas, Earl Eason Jr. of Idabel, Okla., Leon Eason, Wendell Eason, Freddie Eason and Nelson Eason of Lewisville, Ark., Roy Eason of Broken Bow, Okla., and Arthur Eason of Texarkana, Texas; seven daughters, Mary Armstrong and Daisy Lewis of Hope, Ark., Dellar Brown of DeBerry, Texas, Margee Brown of Texarkana, Ark., and Sandra Hamilton, Diana Eason and Ruby Eason of Lewisville; three sisters, Paula Hall of California, Margie Jones-Ellis of Richmond, Calif., and Geraldine Robin Brown of Dallas, Texas; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bradley, Ark. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
