DAWN CORNELIUS

PLEASANT VIEW, Texas—Dawn Carter Cornelius, 53, of Pleasant View died Monday, Aug. 20, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Cornelius was born June 10, 1965, in Ruston, La. She was a singer and songwriter. Survivors include her husband, Ron Cornelius of Pleasant View; her mother, Gerri Spears of Texarkana; four brothers, Duane Carter, David Carter, Mark Spears and Don Spears; three sisters, Debbie Hull, Christine Lunsford and Linda Branham; and a number of other relatives. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Texarkana, HandsOn Texarkana or a favorite animal shelter.
