DeKALB, Texas—Mary Elizabeth "Beth" May, 57, of New Boston, Texas, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, at her home. Mrs. May was born May 27, 1961, in LaMesa, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Gospel Tabernacle, New Boston. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Frank May and David Raschke. Survivors include four daughters, Amber Raschke of New Boston, Lellar Raschke of Hooks, Texas, Jennifer Thurman of Spring, Texas, and Jessica Raschke of Giddings, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Toni Raschke of New Boston; one brother, Johnny Sullivan of Giddings; two sisters, Patti Rojo of New Boston and Beverly McFarland of Brenham, Texas; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 6 p.m. Saturday at Gospel Tabernacle with the Rev. Matt Neese officiating under direction of Bates Family Funeral Home. Online registration is at batesfamilyfuneralhome.com.
