MARY NICHOLS

Mary Lou Nichols, 91, of Shinewell community, Okla., died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Nichols was born July 17, 1927, in Apperson, Okla. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Lynn Lane Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Nichols; and one daughter, Shirley Hicks. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Rita Nichols of Shinewell community and Nickey and Sandy Nichols of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; two sisters, Thelma Caplinger of Dallas and Martha Hullen of Heber Springs, Ark.; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Lynn Lane Church of Christ with Virgil Romine officiating. Burial will be in Philadelphia Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
