VERNON DeWITT

QUEEN CITY, Texas—Vernon Wilson DeWitt, 76, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018, at his home. Mr. DeWitt was born Dec. 21, 1941, in Fort Fairfield, Maine. He was a retired school custodian and bus driver. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Hafford DeWitt; and one son, Tim DeWitt. Survivors include four sons and two daughters-in-law, Sam DeWitt, Steve and Erika DeWitt and Mike DeWitt of Texarkana and Hampton and Anne DeWitt of Madison, Maine; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Signa Doughty of Fort Fairfield and Doreen and Gerald Cyr of Presque Isle, Maine; and four grandchildren.
