LARRY GATLIN

DeKALB, Texas—Larry Gatlin, 62, of DeKalb died Friday, Sept. 18, 2018, at his home. Mr. Gatlin was born Sept. 26, 1955, in DeKalb. He was a retired postal carrier, a member of Plantation Baptist Church, DeKalb, and a Vietnam War Navy veteran. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Abigail Gatlin of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Jean Stell of Texarkana and Carolyn Humphrey of Fort Worth, Texas; two grandchildren, Elijah Gatlin and Faith Gatlin; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Bates Family Funeral Home with James Boyd Strain officiating. Burial will be in Woodmen Cemetery.
