DeAndre Marquis Jackson, 20, of Texarkana, Ark., died Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, in Texarkana, Texas. Mr. Jackson was born July 2, 1998, in Texarkana, Texas. He was employed in trash pickup with Waste Management. Survivors include his father, Jonquill D. Jackson of Texarkana; two brothers, Jamel Jones and Dimitrius James of Texarkana; five sisters, Ladaysha Jackson, Kierra Jackson, Brittney Shaw and Jaquella Jackson of Texarkana and Alexa Jackson of Kansas City, Kan.; his grandmother, La Veda Block of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Grove Baptist Church with Elder Vernon Cheatum Sr. and the Rev. Sedric Dinkins officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
