THOMAS DuPREE

Thomas Wayne DuPree, 90, of Texarkana died Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, at his home. Mr. DuPree was born Jan. 18, 1928, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. He was owner of Intax, formerly employed with Nekoosha Edwards and Federal Compress, a tutor with Fifteeth Street Elementary and a member of Domino Federal Credit Union, Knights of Columbus and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Survivors include his wife, Dolores Therese Marie Dupree; 11 children, Kathleen Lucke, Franklin DuPree, Marjean DuPree, Cynthia DuPree, Daniel DuPree, Debra Kennedy, Janeen Steinheimer, Michelle Childress, Rhonda Turri, Denise Hitt and Kevin DuPree; 24 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Mass services will follow rosary at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Saturday. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the church. Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
